Jo has a BSc in research psychology from Georgia State, but escaped academia to write full-time in Washington D.C. with their supportive partner. They spend a lot of time devouring ebooks from the library, laughing with their book clubs, workshopping ideas with their writing group, and saying hi to the many dogs they meet on walks.

As a writer, I am adamantly against the use of generative AI/LLM tools at any stage of creative work. I have not and will not use generative AI in development, composition, revision, editing, critique, or marketing/promotion of any work, nor will I ever knowingly use it in any communication with others, whether it be a blog post, newsletter, review, or email.
